First Ultra Trail in the Region of Rif and North of Morocco

February 27th and 28th, 2016. “L’Ultra Trail Chaouen by GO Sport” symbolizes the wish to develop a sports activity by combining the virtues of excursions in a natural environment and the value of solidarity, both shared by Go Sport and Mercure International. This race or “Trail Running” organized in a natural environment aims to develop the incredible city of Chaouen, registered by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. 140 runners participated in this Trail, which makes it the best enrolment rate for a first Trail edition in Morocco. The American runner Jenn SHELTON, Women’s world record holder for the 100m trail was also part of this incredible experience.
